You must be using the Shopify Payments Gateway. You can check your eligibility with the Shopify help center information.
2. Instructions
2.1.Create a new market with multiple countries and enable local currencies
- Click on Markets in Shopify dashboard.
- Then click on Create market button.
- Set a name for this new market. (eg. International)
- Include countries you are willing to do business. (Do not insert the countries that is already included in the other markets. In this example, you should not include United States.)
- Ensure to select “Use local currencies” for currency option.
- Save the changes.
- Final look of your Markets should look as above.
2.2. Add a currency switcher to your Shopify store
You can use a third-party Shopify app such as KILATECH Currency Converter to have nice looking currency switcher on your store.
Once you follow the simple 6 steps in the app, you’ll be able to get a nice floating currency switcher.
Further, you can have the currency switcher in your store header with a help of KILATECH customer support.

2.3. Display the local currency based on the visitors' location
You can use a third-party Shopify app such as KILATECH Currency Converter to insert this feature to your Shopify store. This is the same app we discussed under the previous topic.
