Quick guide to Set up and manage multiple currencies in your Shopify store

To run a Shopify-based e-commerce business, you’ll need to know how to manage currencies and set up a default one. We’re pleased to show you how to accomplish your goal in your Shopify store quickly and easily by following our step-by-step instructions.

Settings configuration

Step 1:

Make sure you’re logged into your Shopify admin panel before continuing. Please go to the bottom of the left sidebar and select the Settings option. You’ll be taken to a page where you can configure your store preferences. There should be a tab for general information. You can see the right location in the following screenshot:

Step 2:

Select Standards and formats from the General tab. It should be noted that standards and formats are utilized to determine product costs and shipping weights.

Select the default currency for your store from the drop-down menu.

Step 1:

As an administrator, you may access this feature from the frontend by going to Shopify’s admin panel and selecting Online Store>Customize theme.

Sections will appear in the left sidebar. Header number one is required. It’s just a matter of clicking.

Step 3:

Make sure you check the currency choice at the bottom of the page. Spaces should be used to separate the currency codes. There should be usage of the ISO 4217 3-letter currency code in this case

Step 4:

Apply settings by saving changes.
